Corporate Insight, a consulting firm for the financial services industry, published a report last fall entitled, “Millennials Revisited: Financial Services and the Digital Generation.” One of its key recommendations is that financial-services outfits invest in developing cutting-edge mobile services that provide access to key account information and transaction capabilities and (preferably) take advantage of native device capabilities. In other words, create apps, rather than forcing customers onto the mobile web.
