Small Business Card Providers Mobilize

by on Jun 13, 2014

smallbusinesscardAs mobile apps proliferate in the world of account management, many small business credit card providers have begun providing apps for entrepreneurs. These tools allow business leaders to track their card spending, view insights and store records. Two firms in the Corporate Insight Small Business Card Monitor coverage group stand out for offering mobile apps explicitly for business owners to help manage their accounts – American Express and Chase.

American Express ReceiptMatch and OPEN Forum
American Express maintains two apps for small business owners: ReceiptMatch and OPEN Forum. The ReceiptMatch app lets card holders photograph receipts, tag them to purchases and store them. Additionally, business owners can see how much is being spent on each business card in an account using the app. The firm’s other business app, OPEN Forum, provides business insights and opinions from experts in the small business field, offering business owners an opportunity to get tips and insights. These tools offer a way for American Express to reach out directly to business owners and help them manage their accounts and meet the challenges of running a small company.
