U.S. Bank recently introduced a new iPad app, joining the growing number of firms across the financial services industry that supports the device. The public site Mobile App page was updated to include the new iPad app in addition to the pre-existing iPhone, Android and Blackberry formats the app is currently available for. A “Get The App Now” link produces a pop-up window with a barcode that clients can scan with their phone to be directed to the iTunes App Store. The new iPad App informational page uses the same format and layout as U.S. Bank’s pre-existing app informational pages. The Bank Like Never Before section in the center of the page informs users that they can remotely deposit checks, send money, manage accounts and pay bills with the new iPad app. Below, the firm provides a link to the pre-existing public site Internet Bill Pay page, where users can learn more about the Bill Pay feature and watch several demos. The Get The App Now section at the bottom of the page provides clients with a QR code and an iTunes App Store link, allowing clients to download the new app.
