Mobile Usability Study – User Insights: Brokerage iPhone Apps

altMobile User Testing, the newest addition to Corporate Insight’s User Research Services, will allow you understand how consumers interact with your mobile platforms and identify ways you can improve your offerings.
To kickoff our Mobile User Testing service and underscore the importance of offering a strong mobile experience, we are proud to introduce a new mobile usability study User Insights: iPhone Brokerage Apps. For the study, we completed a series of actual user tests focusing on the iPhone apps offered by four leading brokerages:

  • Charles Schwab
  • Fidelity
  • Merrill Lynch

For each firm we met with five participants and had them complete ten different tasks common to the mobile brokerage experience. The issues that users encountered were eye opening and demonstrate the critical need to test apps before, during and after release.
