A major card issuer was interested in revamping its authorized user program and engaged Corporate Insight to offer an assessment of the competitive landscape and identify best practices. The Small Business Finance Research Services team found a wide range of naming conventions for authorized users—from supplementary card member to guest users—and helped the client identify the most common phrasing. We further offered in-depth guidance about where the authorized user process is best located and promoted, and how the strongest enrollment journeys are structured. The client was able to revamp its marketing and enrollment process to avoid pitfalls that hold back many of its competitors.
